Chairlift recently returned with their single "Ch-Ching", which will appear on their upcoming album Moth, due out January 22 via Columbia. Today, they've shared another track. It's called "Romeo"—listen below.
According to a press release, Caroline Polachek and Patrick Wimberly wrote the song from the perspective of the Greek mythological character Atalanta. Find the song's lyrics below the audio.
Polachek also recently re-imagined the myth of Endymion for a collaboration with MAKE Beauty.

Race me
With all your tricks and all your heart

Hey Romeo
Put on your running shoes I’m ready to go
Hey Romeo
Put on your running shoes I’m ready to go
On your mark
I’m gonna run til you give me a
Reason to stop
To fall on my knees
To need love
On your mark
I’m gonna run til you give me a
Reason to stop
To fall on my knees
To, to fall on my…
Hey Romeo
Put on your running shoes I’m ready to go
Hey Romeo
Put on your running shoes I’m ready to go
