Last week, Rick Ross was arrested in Georgia on charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault, and aggravated battery. Ross allegedly pistol-whipped a man working at one of his homes and prevented him from leaving. TMZ reports that the rapper is out of jail after paying a $2 million bond.
He reportedly paid using $1 million in equity from the mansion he owns—formerly the estate of boxer Evander Holyfield—plus $500,000 in cash and a $500,00 corporate surety bond from a bond bailsman. Ross' lawyer promised that the Holyfield property would be turned over to the county if the rapper threatens any witness.
Ross reportedly got into an argument with a groundskeeper working at his home over a party thrown at Ross' property the night before. After interrogating him at gunpoint, Ross allegedly pistol-whipped him, breaking his jaw and injuring his neck.
