When Chief Keef planned a free concert in Chicago where he'd perform via hologram, he reportedly faced opposition from City Hall. The show was subsequently moved to Hammond, Indiana, but was shut down by police after one song. Tonight on Twitter, Keef urged his fans to call City Hall and tell Mayor Rahm Emanuel "to stay the fuck off the people's music." He also said that he'll run to replace Emanuel in office.

The phone number listed in Keef's tweet is a publicly listed city services number. The next mayoral election in Chicago doesn't take place for another four years; Emanuel was re-elected in February.
The hologram performance was set to be a tribute to 1-year-old Dillan Harris, who was killed by the same car responsible for the death of rapper Capo.
