Earlier this month, Chance the Rapper and Lil B revealed that they had recorded a "based freestyle album" together. In a new interview with Bootleg Kev on Tampa Bay radio station Wild 94.1, Chance talked a little bit more about the project, as Stereogum points out. He confirmed that it's a "full-fledged album" that's "all done." He said "it's a classic" and "it’s a masterpiece."
In the interview, Chance also talked about his upcoming Family Matters tour, the progression of Chicago rap in the last few years, whether he'll sign with a major ("not at this point"), working with Kanye, and the beef between Drake and Meek Mill. On the latter point, he was diplomatic. "Beef isn’t necessarily my forte," he said, "but I know them and I think they’re cool people." You can listen to the interview below.
