Basilica SoundScape will return to Basilica Hudson in Hudson, New York from September 11-13.
Today, we're happy to announce that Godspeed You! Black Emperor will perform a pre-festival show on Tuesday, September 8 at Basilica Hudson. Tickets are available for $20 in advance and $25 at the door for the show. Advance ticket purchasers can buy weekend passes for Basilica SoundScape for the discounted price of $60. Two more acts have also been added to the main festival lineup: Sannhet and the all-drummer Triangle Trio (Chris Corsano, Otto Hauser, and Ryan Sawyer). They join Perfume Genius, Haxan Cloak, Wolf Eyes, Blanck Mass (Fuck Buttons' Benjamin John Power), HEALTH, Viet Cong, Actress, Jenny Hval, Weyes Blood, Circuit des Yeux, and tabla/sitar musicians Gourisankar and Indrajit Banerjee.
In addition to the music, Basilica SoundScape will also feature readings by Holly Anderson (with Chris Brokaw of Codeine and Come), Dorothea Lasky, Sarah Jean Alexander, and Ariana Reines. Contemporary artist Dan Colen will present a series of new large-scale paintings. The Basilica Back Gallery will feature an exhibit called "The Now Forever" featuring work by Harmony Korine, Nate Lowman, Alex McQuilkin, and more. There will also be a Sunday brunch, a marketplace with handmade goods and farm fresh foods, and more.

Basilica Soundscape is organized by Pitchfork Managing Editor Brandon Stosuy, Basilica Hudson Founders and Creative Directors Melissa Auf der Mar and Tony Stone, and Leg Up Management's Brian DeRan.
Watch the interactive documentary on last year's festival, which lets the viewer choose the order in which they watch performances from Swans, Deafheaven, Arcade Fire's Richard Reed Parry, White Lung, and more. The documentary, which was co-directed by Jim Larson and William Colby, includes footage of the surrounding Hudson Valley to give the viewer the full experience of this unique festival.
