Pitchfork.tv's "Director ID" series, a collaboration with Portuguese music and arts television network Canal 180 that profiles some of the best directors working in music videos today, continues with new episodes. The latest features Tom Haines, who has directed clips for Jon Hopkins, White Denim, UNKLE, the Temper Trap, and more.
In this episode, Haines discusses creating videos with strong female protagonists. He also explains why he prefers decrepit locations and how he sees the location as its own character.
