Four Tet, aka Kieran Hebden, collaborated multiple times with the late jazz drummer Steve Reid. They released albums such as 2007's Tongues, 2008's NYC and 2011's Live At the South Bank. They also recorded a version of Derrick May's "Strings of Life" before Reid passed away in 2010. The song was played on a Gilles Peterson podcast celebrating Reid's life, but was never officially released. Today, Hebden announced on Twitter that it'll soon receive a formal release, as FACT points out.
