Titus Andronicus have announced a new studio album, their first since 2012's Local Business. It's called The Most Lamentable Tragedy, which theatre buffs will recognize as another Shakespeare reference. That's the cover art above, which was done by Nolen Strals. They've also shared the lyric video for a new song called "Dimed Out". Watch it below.
The Most Lamentable Tragedy will be out July 28 via Merge as a 2xCD and 3xLP. (The band's last two LPs were released on XL.) In 2013, Patrick Stickles said their next record would be a 30-song rock opera.
The band will also play a string of album release shows at Brooklyn's Shea Stadium, which take place July 24-28.
