Florence and the Machine returned to Indio, CA last night for Coachella's second weekend. After breaking her foot during their set at the festival last week, Florence Welch had to perform the entire set sitting in a chair.
NME reports that after performing her Ceremonials track "Only If For a Night", Welch offered to make up for her injury with a special guest: "To make up for my foot being broken and not being able to stand for you, I thought I'd give you something really special. Everybody, this is Father John Misty." As Josh Tillman took his seat next to Welch, he quipped, "What have you gotten me into?"; the two then dove into an acoustic take on the Everly Brothers' "Love Hurts". Watch footage of their performance below.
Florence and the Machine's album How Big How Blue How Beautiful is out June 2 in the U.S. and June 1 in the UK.
