Deerhunter's forthcoming UK/European dates have been curtailed by some unforseen family circumstances, according to a statement given to ATP (which booked the band at its London Roundhouse event on November 6). No word yet on whether the non-European international dates in November or December will be affected.
"We are very disappointed to have to cancel our upcoming european tour due to unforeseen circumstances," Deerhunter write. "We were very excited for these shows, but unfortunately family circumstances at home for multiple members of the band have made this unavoidable. We will reschedule as soon as possible." They're scheduled to perform tonight and tomorrow night at Webster Hall in New York.
