Cher's 'Woman's World (RuPaul's Drag Race Remix)' Video: We Break It Down Look By Iconic Look

Watch the "RuPaul's Drag Race" Remix of Cher's "Woman's World" video!

It's a drag queen's world in Cher's new video, and don't you forget it!

What's better than Cher? More Cher! The six-decade diva has just released a new clip for her recent single "Woman's World" where, in a move straight outta the George Michael in "Freedom! '90" playbook, Cher doesn't even appear in her own music video.

Instead, she calls upon Willam, Chad Michaels, Shangela Laquifa Wadley, Alyssa Edwards, and Manila Luzon from "RuPaul's Drag Race" -- some of whom you might remember from Lady Gaga's "Applause" lyric video -- to recreate some of her most iconic looks as they lip-sync for their lives. YES TO ALL OF THIS THX.

Watch Cher's "Woman's World ('RuPaul's Drag Race' Remix)" video after the jump.

Before we dive into the video, let's make sure we've all got a good understanding of every Cher visual that RuPaul's talented drag queens are recreating in the clip. It's important to know your pop diva herstory! Before Gaga, Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Madonna, and probably even movable type itself -- THERE WAS CHER. So, uh... ya know. #BowDown

1.) CHER'S "HALF BREED" VIDEO, 1973: Willam channels one of Cher's most memorable early performances.

2.) CHER'S OSCAR DRESS, 1986: Although she didn't actually win her Academy Award until 1988 for "Moonstruck," Chad still delivers an Oscar-worthy visual performance. Brava!

3.) CHER'S "IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME" VIDEO, 1988: We kinda think that Cher, portrayed here by Shangela, actually can turn back time, seeing as how she wore this same barely there outfit to the 2010 VMAs to present Lady Gaga with her Video Of The Year Moonman.

4.) CHER'S CHARACTER IN "MERMAIDS," 1990: If there were ever a person who could make "The Shoop Shoop Song (It's In His Kiss)" a drop-dead gorgeous serious affair, it's Miss Alyssa Edwards. That look in her eyes, it just seethes with: "Back rolls?"

FIDLAR Are Just A Bunch Of Teenage Dirtbags In Their 'Awkward' Live Video (NSFW)

Watch FIDLAR's "Awkward" video.

Aw, FIDLAR were punk rock babies!

A FIDLAR performance always delivers the four S's of punk rock shows: snot, sweat, shout-alongs, and stage-dives. In the band's new video for "Awkward," they bring the blink-182-worthy track to the Oxford Art Factory in Sydney, Australia (more proof Cali punk runs the world). The professionally shot video captures the performance in glorious slo-mo, getting every fist-pump, power chord, and leap into the crowd.

Watch FIDLAR's "Awkward" live video after the jump.

FIDLAR's still-fresh self-titled debut has been out since January, but "Awkward" is a newer song -- a summer jam from their split release with tour mates The Orwells. And they're taking the song title seriously: The single art seems to be the dudes' middle-school yearbook pictures. Braces!

"Awkward" itself has more quiet/loud segues than the average ramming-speed FIDLAR song. That's a good thing, as it turns out, because this way the relatable lyrics take center stage: "I gotta fever just to see her/ feelin' like a stalker/ and didn't know I'm really good at making you feel awkward." Maybe it's because you're going too hard, bros: "I'm at a party and I'm barfin'/ I can barely see." Must be all that international plane travel. Get some rest, guys!

Twerk Fail Prevention: 4 Ways To Protect Yourself Before Twerking (VIDEO)

Beware the dangers of twerking!

Don't let yourself become a statistic!

So, Miley Cyrus may have made twerking look like all fun and games during her VMA performance, but don't be fooled: There are some real risks involved every time you pop that booty! I mean, we get it -- the "Wrecking Ball" singer is generally so flawless, you may not have realized that the twerking danger is real! Let's rap about safety, kids. *flips baseball cap around* *sits on chair backwards* *wonders if you think I'm cool and relatable*

Beware the dangers of twerking!

...Ahem. Anyway, we're not talking some pearl-clutchy "moral fiber of our children" ish, we mean that actual physical harm could come to you, just as it did to the star of "Worst Twerk Fail EVER -- Girl Catches Fire!" video. Learn from her mistakes to avoid becoming a LOL-worthy viral sensation, and remember: Only you can prevent twerk fails. #TheMoreYouKnow #DoYourHomework #SmokersAreJokers #CheckYourselfBeforeYouWreckYourself #Recycle

1.) DON'T TWERK ON A DOOR: You must be able to rely on the stability of your twerking surface. Same goes for windows and lazy Susans.

Beware the dangers of twerking!

2.) DON'T TWERK NEAR AN OPEN FLAME: The only "fi-yah" should be what's on the dance floor.

Beware the dangers of twerking!

3.) COORDINATE TWERK TIME: If possible, try to schedule twerking with family, roommates, or anyone else you cohabitate with. Also, it doesn't hurt to have a spotter just in case you -- oh, I don't know -- fall backwards onto a glass coffee table and catch fire.

Beware the dangers of twerking!

4.) DON'T YELL AT FIRE: Use water to put out a flame, not your words. We really shouldn't have to go over this.

Young Jeezy Is Now Just Jeezy, Officially

Young Jeezy Is Now Just Jeezy, Officially

Young Jeezy has long been colloquially referred to as just Jeezy. And now, at the ripe age of 35, he's making the mononym official, he tells MTV's RapFix in a longer interview about Obama's presidency. "I'm grown now; I did enough of that," he told Sway. "It sounds good because when I came in the game that's who I was and that was my state of mind, but I'm a grown man... those zeros get to adding up, you gotta drop the 'young'".

M.I.A. Parties With The Gods In Her 'Come Walk With Me' Lyric Video

Watch M.I.A.'s "Come Walk With Me" lyric video.

M.I.A. depicts Hindu deities in her (kinda bizarre) "Come Walk With Me" lyric video.

In the Hindu religion, deities are often depicted as having multiple arms to illustrate their power and ability to handle many tasks at once. That's a pretty good description for the multitalented M.I.A. herself, come to think of it, as she illustrates in her latest single, "Come Walk With Me." As for the song's animated lyric video, M.I.A. depicts the exploits of the gods in a retro-computer graphics trip that's as much unsettling as it is fun.

Watch M.I.A.'s "Come Walk With Me" lyric video after the jump.

Having 10 arms would certainly come in handy on the playground, which is what the skipping, double-dutch beat and sing-song melody of "Come Walk With Me" immediately bring to mind. Of course, in this case it's a playground on a southern Asian colony on the moon, but close enough.

"Come walk with me, you ain't gotta shake it just be with me," she sings over Mac sound effects and the shutter tone of Photo Booth software. (No, your computer isn't acting up.)

The song, from M.I.A.'s upcoming fourth album, Matangi, is as beguiling as the clip is unnerving, and the contrast -- as is usually the case with the iconoclast -- is probably the point. Emotionless, blue-skinned gods float in the sky and loom over worshipers, lion-headed gods rip people open while giants smash men into the ground. There's still room for love, however, as two deities share an embrace in clouds. All in all, it's probably safe to say that this is the weirdest recess ever.

Brace Yourself: Paris Hilton's Wearing Almost Nothing For No Reason. That Must Mean A Video's On The Way! (PHOTOS)

Paris Hilton posts flawless selfies from the set of her new video "Good Time."

"...That's hot."

So, even though it's, like, a proven fact that the gods are crazy, we're pretty sure that there's a reason behind Paris Hilton flooding her Instagram feed with semi-clothed selfies. Upon further investigation (i.e. READING THE CAPTIONS), we learned that Heiress Paris is not only on set filming the video for her upcoming single, "Good Time," but that she's gonna release said clip on Oct. 1!

Before we rush into this, we know what we must do. Let's all heed the wise words of our friend Bradley Stern (aka MuuMuse) and: "STOP YOUR ENTIRE LIFE AND SANASA." Ahem... SANASA! SANASA! SANASA-SA! SANASAAAAA! That's better. Let's move on.

Thankfully, there don't appear to be any hungry tigers on set (unlike the one in Katy Perry's "Roar" video), because Paris only deserves the most optimal of work environments -- like, she's responsible for two of my perennial fave tracks! #RealTalk, "Stars Are Blind"?

10 Wilderness Survival Tips We Learned From Watching Katy Perry's 'Roar' Video

Watch Katy Perry's "Roar" video!

It's Katy Perry, filmed in Junglescope!

Although Katy Perry's show-closing VMA performance of "Roar" totally set us up to expect a "Rocky"-inspired look and feel to the lead Prism single's video, last week's teaser clip -- not to mention that old Hollywood-style movie poster mock-up -- presented a drastically different "Jane of the Jungle" angle. And now that she's released the video, we see that Katy's gone full-on queen of the jungle in the clip for "Roar."

And, duh, we're so into it. If anything, Katy has proven that she can werq the EFF out of a theme. "California Gurls"' wipped-cream fembot Candyland fantasy? "Wide Awake"'s nightmarish hedge maze fairy tale? The intergalactic contact-making in "E.T."? Ring, ring! Psssssst! Hey, Katy Perry, it's for you!

tumblr_mslxc1RBnM1ri221fo1_400

YOU'RE WONDERFUL. Thankfully, "Roar" does not disappoint, as Katy Perry not only serves up some top-shelf, Jane of the Jungle realness, but clues us in to some must-know wilderness survival tips!

1.) DON'T RELY ON DOUCHEBAGS: Not to get all Liz Lemon on ya, but if your man's more obsessed with taking selfies than rescuing you from a plane crash -- that's a dealbreakah, ladies!

Can Our Weekend Please Look Like HeeJun + Pusha T's 'Bring The Love Back' Video?!

Check out HeeJun's new video for "Bring The Love Back" featuring Pusha T.

Check out HeeJun's new video featuring Push T.

HeeJun kicks off his video for "Bring The Love Back" like it's a laid-back anthem à la Icona Pop's "All Night" or fun.'s "Some Nights" -- ya know, tight harmonies, group chanting, all-together-now clapping, morale-boosting jazz, etc. But with his "BRING THAT LOVE BACK" dubstep breakdown, the "American Idol" season 11 alum flips everything you thought you knew about him on its head. You should probably grab a pillow for those preconceived notions -- they're gonna need it.

Watch HeeJun's "Bring The Love Back" video featuring Pusha T after the jump.

After driving by a pretty girl behind the wheel of another car and dropping some seriously flirty "c'moooooon" eyes, HeeJun and his newfound lady friend hit up a middle-of-nowhere house party that's possibly even crazier than the one depicted in Lady Gaga's "Just Dance."

Then, following a near run-in with the cops, the Sylvain White-directed clip cuts to the rager's new home base: a late-night burger joint with an abandoned, drained pool next to it. (I, like, #DontGet small towns.) Rapper Pusha T meets up with HeeJun and crew, and the party continues.

When interviewed about his post-"Idol" plans back in 2012, HeeJun told MTV News that "I'm just going to be me, that's all." We've gotta say that we are loving his new "me." Evolving way past his "quirky guy from Queens" image, we're proud to say that to us, HeeJun Han is now the "quirky guy from Queens who can throw a killer party, and we REALLY wanna hang out with him." So basically, dude, this post is a long, meandering way of asking you what your plans are tomorrow night... WELL??

Kim Gordon Will Appear in the Third Season of Girls

Kim Gordon Will Appear in the Third Season of Girls

Next week brings a new album from Body/Head, Kim Gordon's post-Sonic Youth noise guitar duo. Slate recently chatted with Gordon about the record, and learned a fun factoid: she's slated to appear in an episode of the upcoming third season of Lena Dunham's "Girls". Gordon says she's friendly with the show's executive producer, Jenni Konner, but didn't specify what role she'd play or how big her part is; the season three premiere date is still unannounced.

This Photo Of Diddy Holding A Pink Parasol Is The Best Thing To Come Out Of Burning Man Since EVER!

This photo of Diddy holding a pink parasol may just be the most bizarre thing to come out of Burning Man yet!

Yep, Diddy's holding a pink parasol at Burning Man. Begin questioning life NOW.

Burning Man was always missing something -- Diddy, obvs! (Also, more clothes.) I mean, I have no experience attending the most free-spirited festival to hit Nevada's Black Rock Desert every year, but, from the photos I've seen, I've always thought, "Man, if only Diddy would show up to this event and walk around with a bright pink parasol. Then, life would be SO legit!" Well, according to this photo that Vulture.com tweeted, LIFE JUST GOT SO LEGIT!

OK, that was kinda dramatic, but the fact that one of the richest rap mogul/ entrepreneur hybrids on the planet left his expensive clothes and private jet lifestyle to vacay with a bunch of anti-capitalist, free-lovin' peeps has officially rocked our world. Like, is Diddy having some sort of midlife crisis where "Mo Money Mo Problems" started getting #TooReal and the man needed to take a pilgrimage to the desert to reflect?! Is Diddy questioning his gazillionaire existence? If so, and he decides he needs to rid himself of all dem Benjamins to attain a material-free state of enlightenment, we are more than ready to DM @iamdiddy our PayPal accounts.

All in all, this pic serves as a reminder of how even world-famous mega stars are #JustLikeUs and sometimes need to step out of their comfort zones to evolve as people. This photo also suggests that pink parasols are probably going to be a "thing" next spring -- and that Fonzworth Bentley is officially out of the holding-umbrellas-for-Diddy game. Duly noted.

Ariana Grande Skips, Strolls, And Hair-Flips Through A Summery Block Party In Her 'Baby I' Video Teaser

Watch Ariana Grande's "Baby I" teaser

Ariana Grande is the life of this block party in her "Baby I" video teaser.

Ummmm, if you haven't tuned into Ariana Grande's rapid rise to fame yet, then it's time to paid attention, like, RIGHT NOW. Crawl out from under that rock you've been hibernating under, press "power" on ye' olde laptop, hit "play" on Ariana's recently released Yours Truly disc, and prepare to get schooled!

After bowling us over with an epic VMA pre-show performance and being total BFFs with Mac Miller on the "Today" show, the "Piano" singer is on to new things, like getting ready to release the new video for her summery "Baby I" jam. But before we can actually, you know, WATCH the video, let's get this (block) party started with a 30-second teaser!

Watch Ariana Grande's "Baby I" video teaser after the jump.

Though it's crazy short (ugh, teasers) Ariana's "Baby I" snippet does reveal a few very vital details: Dressed in a white crop top and high-waisted jean shorts, Ariana is totally pulling off some kind of Mariah Carey/"Heartbreaker" outfit motif. (Which, admittedly, does NOT hurt the whole "she's the new Mariah!!" comparison thing she's got going on.)

As she skips around a super fun-looking block party (that kinda resembles Spike Lee's Brooklyn-based "Do The Right Thing" set), Ariana wails out the words to "Baby I," tosses her hair, dances it out, and just generally looks the very picture of adorable, angelic, and every other "awww"-worthy adjective you can think of.

In conclusion? If this teaser's any indication of the full video's appeal, then you'd better brace yourselves for an all-day Ariana gush session. BECAUSE IT'S COMING.

Katy Perry Is A Literal 'Teenage Dream'-er In This #tbt Photo from 2002

Check out this Katy Perry/ Katy Hudson Throwback Thursday photo!

Katy Perry? Is that really you?!

Before swinging on vines all Jane of the Jungle-style in her "Roar" video teaser, helping us all feel less like a plastic bag in "Firework," and even chasing down cold-footed fiancés in "Hot N Cold," Katy Perry was, well, Katy Hudson! Back in April of 2002, the fresh-faced 17-year-old was just a year out from releasing her self-titled Christian rock debut, but we're wondering if this West Hollywood portrait sesh may have marked a stylistic turning point for the singer? Dying her hair black, maybe playing some late-night rounds of strip-Candyland? Needless to say, our minds are racing.

TBH, though, we're not exactly sure why Katy changed her stage name from Hudson to Perry. The latter's definitely got a little more rock 'n' roll punch to it (Joe Perry, hello), but it's not like her last name was Von Vomitronksen or something. (True story: The Jonas Brothers started out playing south Jersey county fairs as "The Frumpleton Brothers." Another true story: None of that was true. Also, "Katy Hudson" could easily be confused for "Kate Hudson." So there ya go.)

Anyway, it's, like, crazy to see the Hudson-to-Perry transformation like this -- what an insane difference 11 years can make! The young woman up top looks like she's barely able to mew, and now Katy's roar commands our attention every time she picks up the mic. Anybody else hearing Vitamin C's nostalgic tearjerker, "Graduation (Friends Forever)" RN?? Because, um... we definitely are. #AsWeGoOn #WeRemember #AllTheTimesWe #CriedAllTheTearsOfJoy

Star Spotting: Joe Jonas + His Girlfriend Are Still Going Strong, So Obviously Those Voodoo Spells Didn't Work (PHOTO)

Joe Jonas and girlfriend Blanda Eggenschwiler take a stroll around NYC.

Joe and Blanda are perfect together. THE END.

Sorry, everybody, but Joe Jonas and his girlfriend, Blanda Eggenschwiler, are still going strong. We are SO happy for them, obviously, because love is beautiful -- especially when it happens to people as GORG as Joe and his boo! Now dig deep, y'all, and give 'em all the "awwwwwws" you can muster! And while you're doing that, we're going to be over hear crying tears... of joy! Yeah, that's it, joy. #DontCryOutLoud

The middle Jonas Brother was photographed with his girlfriend while shopping in NYC, although, by the conspicuous lack of shopping bags, we'd guess that the real purpose of the stroll was just to be all cute and stuff together in public. We get that the two wanna spend as much time together as possible before Joe and his bros go on tour with Bonnie McKee, but don't they know that making us see them in public is just a cruel reminder of what we can't have?

It's bad enough that we will NEVER possess the flawless bone structure found on the "First Time" singer and his GF's faces, but begrudgingly accepting that we're losing one more shot at joining the Jonas family?! It's almost to much to bear. With Joe nearly out of reach and Kevin definitively out of the running, we're coming for you and your shirtless bod, Nick. Get ready.

We Came As Romans Might Not 'Fade Away,' But They WILL Defy Gravity In Their New Video

Watch We Came As Romans' "Fade Away" video.

We Came As Romans are light as a feather, stiff as a board in their "Fade Away" video.

Sometimes your favorite songs make you feel like you're floating on air. That's particularly true of bands like metal-core heroes We Came As Romans, being as adept as they are with breakdowns leading into cathartic drops. This time around, however, the band takes that "floating on air" concept literally in their new video for "Fade Away."

Watch We Came As Romans' "Fade Away" video after the jump.

In the high-concept video, taken from their recent Tracing Back Roots record, the Detroit screamers finally break free of that oppressive, yet moodily appointed warehouse practice space last seen in their "Hope" video. The world outside in this clip -- directed by Rasa Acharya and Dan Kennedy -- is even more confusing: Vocalist Dave Stephens races through a series of mysterious doors that end up being portals to other settings. One door leads underneath the ocean, and another to a spooky forest where the rest of the band are sprawled out, suspended in midair.

"Having the whole band involved in the storyline was something we had never done before, and we're all very pleased with how it came out," Stephens said in a release. "It was also really awesome and different for us to do a video with so many special effects. We had a blast making it and it's always a pleasure to work with Dan and Rasa. This is my favorite video we've ever done."

It looks like it was fun, too, aside from the fact that "Fade Away" is a little "The Craft"/"Light as a feather, stiff as a board" creepy. In the video, as in the song, which is a declaration of brotherly love, it's friendship that saves the day.

"However long it takes, I will never break/ Whatever path we take, I won't fade away," Kyle Pavone sings in ascendant clean vocals that blend with Stephens' growls. Just a couple of bros having each other's backs. That's what it's all about. Gotta love #friendcore.

A$AP Rocky Charged With Assault

A$AP Rocky has been charged with assault for allegedly slapping a female fan in the face, as TMZ reports. The incident occurred on Saturday, during Rocky's performance at Jay-Z's Made in America festival in Philadelphia. According to TMZ, the fan pressed charges today, and A$AP was charged with misdemeanor simple assault.

TMZ states that the rapper was moving through the crowd when he allegedly "turned and fired off an open-hand slap, connecting with her face," and she endured whiplash. The D.A. reviewed the case after the victim filed a complaint today, and filed the charges thereafter.
